GESCO Training Center was established in 1995 by Global Engineering & Services Co. (GESCO) to provide a wide range of training courses, both certified and customized, to the petroleum and industrial sectors in Egypt & other countries in the Middle East.
The last seven or eight years witnessed GESCO Training Center's participation in a number of leading training projects:
Our Center has been selected by Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation, together with other reputable training centers to run a training project for 10,000 (ten thousand) individuals holders of intermediate diploma and /or holders of technical high diploma to be qualified to work in the future in Oil Sector Companies in Egypt or other Arab Countries.
GESCO Training Center had been awarded on Feb. 20, 2003 and on July 3, 2003 Phase 1 and Phase 2 of Spanish Egyptian Gas Company(S.A.E) established training program to have available staff well trained at the time of plant pre-commissioning, commissioning start-up and normal operation and maintenance.
Non-Destructive Testing Course was conducted to participants from Arab Drilling & Workover Company (ADWOC). By course end, participants were awarded International Certificates in accordance with the international SNT-TC-1 A Program.
GESCO Training Center had been approved and registered as an International Well Control Forum (IWCF) Assessment Center in Egypt. We have conducted a number of IWCF Well Control Courses to participants from Egypt and other Arab countries.
GESCO Training Center has been accredited IADC Well CAP Certificate under the Number W715 as of Feb. 2007.
GESCO Training Center has been registered with IMC (The Industrial Modernization Center) as of May 28, 2006.
GESCO Training Center's team has a vast experience in training both inside and outside Egypt. It includes professionals in designing, preparing and implementing training programs.
Courses are conducted at our facilities in a state-of-the-art setting. Our training rooms are provided with the latest technological facilities.
GESCO Training Center provides high quality professional and technical training to individual students and organizations. Our training programs are offered in a number of modes:
Multi – Company Courses are well suited to individuals who need specialized or locally available training.
Special Courses are conducted in house or on site, which the individual companies contract for their own employees.
On-the-job Training is conducted on site which individual companies contract for their field employees.
Certified Courses such as IWCF Well Control Certificate and Well Cap Certificate are offered to Petroleum and Drilling Companies where drillers are required to obtain such certificates.
